IATA CBTA Function 7.1 or 7.3 Classroom Training - Air Freight of Dangerous Goods
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS

LEGAL COMPLIANCE AND APPROVAL
Successful completion of the basic
course in air transport of hazardous substances is a legal prerequisite. It
grants approval under regulatory provisions, allowing individuals to handle
dangerous substances for air freight. Refer to the table below to determine the

DGM offers classroom training for functions 7.1 and 7.3. In addition to the IATA certificate, you will also receive the student's assessment form with the corresponding evaluation criteria. For the other functions, we offer training via e-learning.
IATA CBTA functions 7.2, 7.4, 7.5, 7.6, 7.7, 7,8, 7.9 and 7.10 e-Learnings
The remaining CBTA functions are available through our e-learning platform. Similar to classroom training, candidates undergo assessment of their knowledge, skills, and attitude through test questions and integrated smart measuring tools. Combination training ADR/IATA Awareness (e-learning or in-company training)
This training caters to individuals who are not responsible for drafting AWBs or DGDs but are otherwise involved in transporting hazardous substances, including import and sales personnel of freight forwarders, as well as drivers. Participants gain insights into working with the IATA DGR and are introduced to the realm of ADR. Offered in both Dutch and English, the training concludes with an exam, and attendees receive a certificate upon completion. Given evolving regulations, we recommend refreshing this training every two years.
IATA Air transport of Radioactive materials (2 days)
In addition to the IATA CBTA 7.1 or 7.3 training, individuals can also enroll in our Radioactive Materials training. Primarily designed for employees of forwarders with B+ recognition, senders with A+ recognition, and air freight handlers with C+ recognition, this training ensures comprehensive knowledge in handling radioactive materials. We offer a tasty lunch and the training concludes with an exam that must be retaken every two years to maintain certification. Also, you don't need to bring your own IATA DGR to the course; students will have access to a copy of DGM during the training.
Guidelines for the transport of Lithium Batteries (e-learning or in-company training)
Are you involved in transporting Lithium Batteries? Our specialized interactive course is tailored specifically for transporting Lithium Batteries, encompassing essential aspects such as proper identification, classification, packaging, labeling, and documentation for all modes of transport. The comprehensive training spans approximately four hours. Considering the frequent updates in regulations, we advise undergoing this training every two years to ensure compliance and proficiency.
